But if you need a clear idea of how to set up an ideology, it would be best to use the suggested presets. In the game, there are 3 types of presets in the game: strong, intense, and mid. They are used to customize your ideology, add new options and diversify it as much as possible. But if I create the same ideology for my second colony, it will let me do that without selecting the building. Presets are one of the main things in any ideology. If i try to start a new game using that meme with a Symbol Burning ritual but no building selected, it won't let you. I've tried creating the same ideology twice now, just a simple "Supremacist" meme. However, this validation doesn't seem to work if this is your second colony through the Archonexus quest and you're changing ideology. If you try and start a new game with an ideology using the "Symbol Burning" ritual, without selecting an appropriate symbol (effigy, flag etc.) under the "Building" section, it won't pass validation, and will force you to select an appropriate building for that ritual. I just had a faff around because I had this issue with my second colony. I've worked it out, and yeah, it's a bug by the looks. This screenshot is of the options under "Misc".
